Course Description 

This course enables the participants to understand the importance of workforce planning and how it ensures organisational performance. It will provide them skills and competence to plan their workforce, how to assess the requirements, when to develop current staff or recruit from external sources to satisfy future demands. 

The course covers the following topics:

  • The link between workforce planning and organisational HR Strategy. 
  • Determining the organization business goals.
  • Scanning of the environment.
  • Conducting a gap analysis of existing and requirement human resources.
  • Setting HR priorities to achieve organizational goals. 
  • Understanding the demand and supply of human resources.
  • Addressing human resource requirements on the basis of priority and need.
