Course Outline 

The 2-day course on Business continuity management (BCM) has its ‘raison d'être’’ in this era of uncertainty and where the unexpected is omnipresent. BCM is regarded as an instrumental approach and tool for any types of organisation and whatever the nature of activity (public or private) Organisations need to prepare for, respond to and recover from business disruptions as a result of natural and man-made hazards. This training workshop is designed to equip Senior Officers, Head of departments and Officers with the necessary tools and techniques in how to undertake strategic business continuity planning and management as part of overall efforts for business resilience in line with ISO 22301 BCMS.

Course Objectives 

The objectives of the course are to enable participants to:

• Enable participants to assess and control operational risk;
• Acquire knowledge and skills to establish a BCM System; and
• Enable participants to exercise and test the Business Continuity Plan for resilience.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Be equipped with the necessary tools and techniques for establishing a BCP;
• Exercise and test the robustness of a BCP for resilience.
