This course provides a general perspective of how to manage resources and how it will enable the organisations to be effective and efficient in their operations.
The topics covered are:
- Tangible and intangible organizational resources.
- The importance of each resource and how they individually and collectively impact the performance of organizations.
- The impact of not having one or more or part of a resource in the organization.
- The approaches for enabling the effective utilization of the resources.
- The leadership and other soft skills required for the resource utilization to be effective.
- The influence of internal and external factors on the resources and how they impact on the resources utilization.
Course Objectives
The objectives of the course are to enable participants to:
- Understand the importance of managing their organizational resources and the impact of each of the resources on the overall organizational performance.
- Develop strategies for management of the resources individually and collectively.
- Address risk and constraint issues arising in the management of the resources
- Understand the implications of not managing the resources appropriately.
